Chelsea Eubank
Chelsea Eubank is the founder and president of Faithful Fish a Christian clothing line. Chelsea created Faithful Fish in 2005 when she was just 17 years old. She was inspired to create the line after experiencing five personal losses in her family over a two-year period, including her father. Through her journey of grief Chelsea found a renewed sense of faith and launched her line of trendy Christian clothing to encourage others to proudly show the joy of wearing their faith in a subtle way. Chelsea sees her company as an altruistic venture with a portion profits from sales being donated to charity.
In addition to starting her company in high school, Chelsea was a cheerleader and in her junior and senior year she played basketball. Her team won their division both the years that Chelsea played and she won All-Conference Outstanding Player in her senior year. She was honored as the Most Outstanding Student at her graduation. For the past two years Chelsea has been attending Beacon College in Leesburg, Florida. Beacon is a small private college that did not have a sorority. Chelsea worked with the college to found their first sorority Pi Phi Psi of which Chelsea was the Vice President the first year. This sorority is a growing house with great ties to the community. While attending college she has continued to manage her business commuting to Atlanta as needed. She is currently in Atlanta interning and volunteering with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Chelsea and Faithful Fish have been featured in numerous secular and non-secular publications including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Christian Family Magazine, Points North Magazine, Desert News, COSMOGirl, Seventeen (currently one of their online money experts) and many, many more print media outlets. The on-line press has included being featured on one of the top online teen websites, Alloy.com as one of the top ten teen fashion websites and Christian Retailing-Industry Radar.
Chelsea has been interviewed for The Fish Atlanta radio and several other stations, by Kellie Alexander, host of a public affairs show that highlights issues of interest and importance that affect Atlanta and its surrounding communities. She was also interviewed for Radio Sandy Springs Following Your Passions hosted by Bernard Kearse and for Sirius Radio’s Life With a Purpose hosted by Myrna Moore on assignment for the Georgia Baptist Convention. Numerous blogs have also interviewed Chelsea.
In addition to formal interviews, Chelsea has had many personal interviews and meetings with supporters of her clothing line including Georgia Governor, Sonny Perdue, Kirk Cameron, Dan Reeves (Ex Coach of the Falcons) to name just a few.
In April Ignite Your Faith will feature a story on Faithful Fish. Also in April Chelsea’s story will be published in Richest Kids in America (in Chelsea’s case – rich in spirit and rich in faith), written by Mark Victor Hansen co-author Chicken Soup for the Soul Series. She participated in a young entrepreneur panel hosted by Art Linkletter (Kids Say the Darnedest Thing) and Mark Victor Hansen.
Chelsea continues to share her story and inspiration at both public and private schools in the Atlanta area. She is available to speak at civic, community, church or business groups.
Chelsea and Faithful Fish currently provide support to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Past charities have included Feed the Hungry and The HopeBuilders. During summer breaks Chelsea makes it a priority to go on mission trips and worked in Austria last summer with Campus Crusade. She currently participates in local Christian retreats for teens along with volunteering for Girls Inc.
